Our History!
McLaughlin Lofts owned by Frank and Dan McLaughlin. Frank has been a keen pigeon fancier since he was seven years old and has always been well aware of the value of the best bloodlines available. Frank for 40 years has been at the top of the sport in the powerful Boston Concourse. Winning every possible concourse and national prize personally, McLaughlin Lofts pigeons win major futurities and National awards each year in all climates around the globe for fanciers lucky enough to own one. Frank relentlessly tracks down the premier pigeons on the world stage spending nearly one month a year in Belgium. McLaughlin Lofts usually owns a bloodline long before most of the sport has even heard of them. Frank has recently partnered with his brother Dan to form this dynamic pigeon duo. Dan McLaughlin after always assisting with the pigeons decided to break out and race on his own in the summer of 2007. Dan achieved spectacular results with only a handful of McLaughlin pigeons. The pigeon sport has a formidable partnership at McLaughlin Lofts. Known for their Staf Van Reet, Maurice Casaert, Jos and Jules Engels, De Rauw Sablon/Marcel Aelbrecht and the long distance family of Fabrys and Imbrechts. We have settled back in Massachusetts and our pigeons are stronger than ever!
Something very special is going on at the lofts in Hanson Massachusetts. McLaughlin Lofts has always been the front runner on the US racing pigeon scene. Few can compare to our racing and breeding record for nearly 40 years. Our personal family we created, the Fabrys and Imbrechts (1977 Fabrys, 1983 Imbrechts) are still dominating long distance racing around the globe each year. We were the first to introduce the incomparable Staf Van Reet pigeons back in 1991. No loft in the world can compete with our Van Reet blood or Van Reet racing records. We started introducing the best of the incredible Maurice Casaert pigeons in 1994. These families were followed by the very elite pigeons of Jos and Jules Engels in 2001 and 2010. We bought from the Kannibaal in 2002. We have spared no expense in 2010 to load up on the best of Marcel Aelbrecht and De Rauw Sablon pigeons and now have what we call the ‘Sun City Project’ pigeons. McLaughlin Lofts is always ahead of the curve with pigeons improving each generation.
