Our Sun City Project
‘The
Sun City Project’ pigeons are our 2010 acquisitions designed to propel
our loft and your loft into dominating one loft racing. The Sun City Million Dollar Race will be the gold standard. Our new pigeons have excelled in Sun City and will excel in any one loft race anywhere under all conditions. Hundreds
of hours of study, a mega investment and extreme selection will
continue to keep McLaughlin Lofts at the forefront of the sport.
What is ‘The Sun City Project’? We focused on buying young from the foundation pigeons of top European lofts. These lofts and blood have been extremely successful in Sun City. We also purchased pigeons that were prize winners and outstanding racers in Sun City. An example of this would be “April Babe”, bred by Jos and Jules Engels. April Babe was the 2nd. Overall Average Belgian Pigeon in the Hot Spot averages along with winning a Hot Spot prize. April Babe flew at the top week after week this past year in Sun City.
The Sun City Project Pigeons consist of the rich genes of pigeons that accounted for 1st. 2nd and 3rd in Sun City the last several years. Our
loft already housed the highest standard of pigeons in the sport and it
looks like these additions are going to cause us to fly away from the
pigeon pack at an even faster rate.

*De Rauw Sablon /Marcel Albrecht, Belgium, hottest most sought after pigeons in the world today!
*Jos and Jules Engels, Belgium, including an inbred half brother to the famous ‘Argenton’ and a son from the supreme super breeder of Ace Pigeons, ‘De Marcel’.
*Hebberecht, Belgium, from his champion racers and breeders.
*Norbert and Filip Norman, Belgium, including a youngster from champion breeder 1st Nat. Pau ‘Robinson’ and granddaughters to ‘Zorro’.
*Marc Vlaeminck, Belgium, one from his #1 pair
*Gabriel Kint, Belgium, two from his #1 cock and one from his #1 pair
*Alois Weifler, Austria, one from his #1 breeding cock responsible for 5 pigeons in the top 56 at Sun City.
*Marcel Sangers, Holland,one from his super racer/breeder ‘Hayabusa King’ 6 times 1st with up to 17802 pigeons. This hen scored 111th in Sun City with only 141 day birds.
*Ten additional imports bred from the famous pairs of top European Lofts. Henk and Piet De Weerd, Gyselbrecht, Gino Clicque, Peeters Huybregts and Norbert De Schrijver
